Sheet Metal Worker : £33,000 - £35,375

Shifts:

Monday - Thursday 6am – 2pm Friday 6am – 1pm

Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm Friday 9am – 4pm

Orion is currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Derby, We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a FMCG environment.  

Sheet Metal Worker Responsibilities:

• Working with materials such as Titanium, stinless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
• Working to fine gauges 0.7mm to 1.6mm
• Working from drawings
• Riveting and sealing
• Assemble fabricated and machined parts

Sheet Metal Worker Experience:

• Working with materials such as Titanium, stainless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
• Using hand tools to cut bend and straighten sheet metal
• Shaping metal over blocks using hammers
• Inspecting assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded surfaces
• Work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of working in a high volume fast paced manufacturing environment
• To be able to follow a work list to achieve high productivity

Sheet Metal Worker Qualifications:

• City and Guilds
• Level 3 qualified in welding and fabricaton
