Hourly Rates:  

£25.98 days / PAYE 
£28.05 mornings / PAYE 
£30.13 afternoons / PAYE 
 
 
Shifts: Morning & Afternoon (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00) after a short period for induction and training on days.
 
We are seeking a Paint Shop Production Manager to work on a contract basis for a two-year project based in Derby.

We're looking for a hands-on, safety-focused leader to oversee paint operations for large rolling stock vehicles. You’ll drive performance, ensure quality standards, and support continuous improvement across all production stages.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead paint shop operations with a strong focus on Health & Safety and quality.
- Deliver production targets and support staff development.
- Manage shift transitions and oversee key processes.
- Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Conduct investigations and support the onboarding of new team members.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in large-scale paint application processes.
- Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
