Residential Manager – Derby- £55K

Amber Mace is working with a well-established care provider in the search for a Residential Manager to lead a welcoming and supportive care home.
As the Residential Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care for residents while providing leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional with strong managerial skills to make a real impact in a service that values compassion, professionalism, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the care home.
• Ensure the home is fully compliant with CQC regulations and company policies.
• Lead, inspire, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of person-centred care.

Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience as a Care Home or Residential Manager, or Deputy Manager within elderly care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and creating a positive environment for residents and staff.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
