Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Children

Salary: 36,000 per annum + 6,000 for sleep ins
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team in Derby, UK. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary and additional sleep-in allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the residential home, ensuring the safety and well-being of the childrenDevelop and implement care plans for each child, in collaboration with other team members and external professionalsProvide emotional support and guidance to children, promoting their personal, social, and educational developmentSupervise and support a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and feedback as neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date records, including incident reports and progress notesLiaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible care for the childrenParticipate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and proceduresEnsure the home is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all timesRequirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in a residential settingNVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalentStrong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and support a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of child development and safeguarding proceduresAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and sleep-insMust be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS checkIf you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and have the skills and experience required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
