We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to work in an established Adults Residential Home. This position does not offer sponsorship and you will need the right to work in the UK as an essential requirement for this role.

You will be joining a team of people who provide high-quality care and support to adults with complex needs in a residential setting. As a Senior Support Worker you will lead by example ensuring the highest standards of care and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional wellbeing
Lead and supervise a team of support workers ensuring compliance with care plans and policies
Adminster medication safely and accurately
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
Support residents to achieve personal goals and engage in meaningful activities
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld at all times
Act as a point of contact for families and external professionals

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
Previous experience in a care setting, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
Good leadership and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
Competent in medication administration and record keeping.

You will require an ehanced DBS for this role as Senior Support Worker, be able to provide professional references and have the right to work in the UK with a commitment to ongoing training and development.
