We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our Adult Safeguarding Team in Derby.About the Role:
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into allegations of abuse and neglect of adults at risk.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including police, health professionals, and other social care providers, to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.
- Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans to protect adults from harm and promote their safety and independence.
- Provide support and guidance to families and carers of vulnerable adults.
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
Requirements:
- Registered with Social Care England.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
- Significant experience in adult safeguarding is essential.
- Excellent assessment, investigation, and report writing skills.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
