CAFCASS Qualified Social Worker | Pubic & Private Law Teams | Derby
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide reports to the family courts, ensuring the child's voice is central to all proceedings.
- Work collaboratively with families and professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children involved in private law cases.
- Offer expert advice and support throughout the legal process, ensuring best practices are upheld.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration.
- Experience working within CAFCASS or similar settings, particularly in private law.
- Strong understanding of family court procedures and the legal framework surrounding child welfare.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
