Grants Manager Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a knowledge of the external charity funding environment and benchmark the charity against fundraising trends and best practice in the wider sector
  • Completing and managing grant and trust applications (working in conjunction with CEO and Trustees) across large, medium and small (volume) trusts and foundations
  • Engaging with potential corporate partners maintaining and developing positive relationships with a varied pool of stakeholders, supporters and funders 
  • Roll out the charity’s corporate programme
  • Developing a targeted programme to gain support and funds from local clubs and societies
  • Attending relevant external meetings and presentation events
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring close and effective working relationships across the whole organisation
  • Working with the CEO to produce, implement the fundraising plan  
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a similar role developing and delivering fundraising strategies
  • Income generation experience
  • Must have a driving license
  • Relationship building experience
  • Self-motivated and results driven
