Description
As Interim Procurement Consultant, duties will include, however, not be limited to:
- Delivering end to end (through open and negotiated public contract regulations led) procurement's with a particular focus on Rail & Fleet.
- Analyse market trends and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor and report on fleet procurement performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Profile
A successful Interim Procurement Consultant should have
- Must have completed the Government Commercial College TPP module and be a PA23 Certified Practitioner.
- Proven expertise in end to end procurement particularly in Rail, Fleet, Water or Utilities operations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse market data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships effectively.
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate of 500 to 600 outside IR35, depending on relevant experience.
