We are looking for a Fabric Engineer to join the team of an established FM company in the Derby area on a temp to perm basis.
£22-£24ph paid weekly via umbrella
Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00)
Temp to Perm (permanent £32000k)
Derby – Static Role
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Responding to reactive works within the team
-
Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales

Liaising with Clients’ representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
-
Undertaking site surveys & producing Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works

Repairing floor and wall coverings
-
Carrying out ceiling tile repairs and replacements
-
Performing other building and installation works as required
-
Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes on AHUs / FCUs, and basic plumbing requirements

Completing reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner
To be successful as a Fabric Engineer you will need:

Previous experience in a fabric or general building maintenance environment

Good knowledge of PPM routines and general building fabric repairs

Relevant qualifications or proven practical experience in a similar role

Ability to carry out tasks independently and to a high standard]

Joiner qualification
