Job Title: Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator

Hours of Work: 10:00 am -18:00 pm

We are hiring for a Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator to undertake various tasks, including driving a Bendi forklift and supporting with handballing, stacking, rapping pallets and general warehouse duties. This is a friendly warehouse team environment where you will be an essential part of a team that handles customer orders. Your goal will be to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring products are handled and delivered accurately and on time.
Duties of a Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator:
You will be working as part of the Warehouse/Logistics/Material Handling team and will be responsible for:
- Safely operating a Bendi forklift to move goods and stock around the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring correct placement and rotation of stock.
- Assisting with the organisation and storage of goods in the warehouse.
- Completing stock checks and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Handling boxes and equipment of up to 25kg, ensuring safe lifting and moving techniques.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety procedures.
Skills and experience of a Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator:
As a Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator, you will need to have experience with:
- Operating a Bendi forklift (either qualified or with relevant experience).
- Previous warehouse experience, including goods handling.
- A good understanding of warehouse operations, including stock rotation and safety protocols.
It would be beneficial to the Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator role if you also had:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Access to reliable transport. The client’s site is accessible via car, public transport, walking, or cycling.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced distribution centre.

Our client is a goods distributor looking for a Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operator to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment for the right person. This client operates from a large warehouse.
