With a busy pipeline of work and secured contracts, they are looking to expand their team with experienced Fabricator Welders.The Role:As a Fabricator Welder, you will be working independently and in small teams to deliver high-quality fabrication and welding as part of rail vehicle repair and overhaul projects.Duties include:* Interpreting engineering drawings to fabricate components in the workshop* MIG and TIG welding in all positions (Vertical Up / Overhead)* Working with Aluminium and Mild Steel* Using fabrication tools, including Oxy-Acetylene for material manipulation* Following WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)* Basic stripping/fitting tasks to access repair areas* Occasional travel and work on various sites and depots across the UKRequirements:* Proficient in reading technical/engineering drawings* Competent in MIG and TIG welding in all positions* Willingness to travel and work away when required* Strong team player with excellent communication skills* Relevant welding/fabrication certifications (advantageous)* Previous rail industry experience (preferred but not essential)Weld Test Required:To be considered, all candidates must complete a weld test:* MIG on Mild Steel - Butt and Fillet Welds (2mm & 6mm, Vertical Up & Overhead)Interested?Send your CV to: Please Note: All candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening.
