Assistant Management Accountant

Keeler Recruitment are working with a reputable business based in the heart of Norwich to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Team fit is important, as you'll be working closely with and reporting directly to the Finance Manager within a small, collaborative, and close-knit team.
The Role:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assisting and processing payruns
- Preparing monthly journals and supporting general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts to trial balance
- Supporting VAT returns and audit preparation
- Conducting internal control reviews to support compliance
What We're Looking For:
- AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks)
