Are you an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated individual to join our client's busy operation near Dereham, Norfolk. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm role offering the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
About the Role:
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be a crucial part of the warehouse team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods. Your duties will include:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to load and unload vehicles.
- Moving and stacking goods within the warehouse.
- Ensuring stock is correctly located and rotated.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Working Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- Start times: 06:00 or 08:00 (flexibility may be required)
Location:
- Near Dereham, Norfolk
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times.
