CNC Turner / Setter / Operator - Devizes
Salary: 33-35K DOE + shift allowance | Permanent | 39 hrs/week
Join a market-leading engineering company with over 80 years' experience and a global client base! We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to operate lathes and produce high-precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes (Doosan & Alpha) with Fanuc controls.
- Produce precision components to drawing specifications.
- Complete all documentation and update ERP systems.
- Perform daily machine checks and report any issues.
- Support lean manufacturing practices and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
Requirements:
- Experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist in a high-precision environment.
- Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain CNC controls preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn unique EDM processes (training provided).
Shifts:
- Training: Day shift Mon-Fri
- Post-training: Rotating double day shifts:
- Earlies: 6:00-14:30 Mon-Thu, 6:00-11:00 Fri
- Lates: 14:30-23:00 Mon-Thu, 11:00-16:00 Fri
