Fire & Security Installation Engineer

Location: Devizes & surrounding counties (Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire)
OTE: 45,000-50,000+
Call-Out Rota: 1-in-12
On-Call Allowance: 125 per week + overtime

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team covering a defined local patch across the South West and South East.

This role offers exceptional earning potential, a genuinely light call-out rota, and strong support for ongoing training and development.

You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of fire and electronic security systems across a range of environments including education, commercial, healthcare, and local authority sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning:

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Intruder alarms

  • IP CCTV systems

  • Access control (standalone and integrated)

• Completing accurate documentation in line with quality standards

• Working in accordance with current British Standards, health & safety requirements, and company procedures

• Local, defined patch with minimal stay-away

• Paid travel time (door-to-door, less 30 minutes at start and end of day)

• Work with modern, high-end systems including Hikvision, Avigilon, Ajax, Paxton, Gent and Advanced
