Occupational Therapist - Reablement Team
Contract: Full time locum contract
Umbrella rate: 36.54 p/h
Hybrid working: Hybrid working - 50% face to face across Wiltshire
Our local authority client in Wiltshire are recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Reablement Team.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct strengths-based assessments and design tailored reablement plans that promote independence and reduce long-term care needs.
- Provide professional guidance and support to team members, sharing expertise on equipment, adaptations, and decision-making.
- Exercise autonomy in managing your own caseload and schedule, ensuring personalised, compassionate care for each individual.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and other professionals to deliver coordinated and effective reablement services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Holding a valid full UK driver's license is essential, as you'll be conducting visits to clients in their own homes or other settings, such as hospitals.
