We're working with a fantastic specialist school in Rowde that supports students aged 11-18 with Severe Learning Disabilities (SLDs) and Autism. They are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join their friendly, experienced team as soon as possible.

The Autism Support Worker role is a full-time, term-time role that gives you the chance to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment where every day brings something new and rewarding.

Key Details for an Autism Support Worker

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Full-time, 08:30-15:00 (Monday-Friday, term-time only)
• Pay: 85-100 per day (depending on experience)
• Location: Rowde

As an Autism Support Worker, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students
• Help build communication and social interaction skills
• Promote independence and a sense of safety within the learning environment
• Support students in managing their emotions and behaviours
• Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes

Te role of Autism Support Worker is ideal for someone who:

• Is a strong communicator with a calm, patient manner
• Is organised, adaptable, and ready to rise to daily challenges
• Has a Grade C/Level 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Has experience working with children or young people (particularly those with additional needs)
• Genuinely cares about supporting young people with Autism and SEN
