We are currently recruiting on behalf of Wiltshire Council for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) Team. This is a frontline statutory role focused on supporting looked after children and young people, providing high-quality, child-centred intervention, assessment, and care planning.

Key Requirements:Must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
Strong working knowledge of the Children Act 1989, Children and Families Act 2014, and Care Planning Regulations
Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience, ideally working with children in care or fostering services
Experience with assessments, care planning, statutory reviews, and multi-agency working
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
Confident using electronic case management systems (e.g. Liquidlogic)
£36.54 per hour (LTD)
Long-term contract with supportive management
Flexible hybrid working model (minimum in-office/visits as required)
Stable, well-resourced teams with manageable caseloads
Ongoing training and CPD opportunities
