Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a national dealer of a leading forklift product that are looking to bring on a new Field Service Engineer to cover West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Servicing a client base across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
- Fixing and servicing other related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
- Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry, however this isn’t essential. They would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or other industries with a strong hydraulics/mechanical or diagnostics focus. Another option the company would consider would be a recently qualified engineer looking to get into something long term and build a career. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in West Yorkshire.

- Competitive salary (up to £36k depending on experience)
