Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Dewsbury as they look to recruit a Credit Controller into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers and third parties by letter and telephone to ensure prompt payment of invoices whilst maintaining and strengthening existing relationships
- Work to monthly cash and overdue debt targets in order to continually improve both debtor days and overdue debt profiles
- Keep accurate and up to date records of all debt chasing to ensure that all items are followed up and escalated where required
- Keep sales and operations management teams informed of any potential issues with non-payment of invoices
- Identify issues and develop and implement solutions in conjunction with the Credit Control Supervisor
Requirements:
- GCSE level education
- Minimum 2 years’ experience gained within a credit control environment
- Attention to detail
