We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join a reputable organisation within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Dewsbury. This is an all round HR administration and advisory role.

This role is within a well-established SME organisation in the industrial/manufacturing sector based in Dewsbury.

Description

The interim HR Generalist will provide hands on support including:

  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and coordinating interviews.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance on employment law and HR best practices to line managers and staff.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems effectively.
  • Assist in performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Handle employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate training sessions and support staff development programmes.

Profile

A successful HR Generalist should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience working within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and maintaining employee records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Available immediately to start a new role.
