Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dewsbury. This is a full-time contract position running from January 2026 until July 2026, covering the remainder of the academic year.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues and contribute to wider school life.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
