Assistant Financial Accountant - Didcot - £28,000 / £30,000 - Hybrid working - Study Support

About the Job This is a key position within the Central Accounting & Reporting team. You will contribute to a broad range of reporting duties, including sales and cash reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and budget cycle support.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing weekly reports and invoices
  • Managing cash reporting
  • Assisting with statutory accounts production and divisional submissions
  • Conducting trade debtor reconciliations
  • Compiling data for national statistics reporting
  • Assisting with purchase orders and month-end commission processes
  • Performing reconciliations and postings for internal and external parties
  • Supporting the budgeting process and undertaking ad hoc tasks as required

About the Successful Applicant You will be studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA and demonstrate solid Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Experience with would be advantageous.
