- Lead and manage the internal sales team and external sales representatives to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee inbound and warm leads generated through marketing, ensuring timely qualification and follow-up.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed technical proposals and compelling sales presentations.
- Drive proactive outreach to potential customers across multiple channels (calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Build and maintain relationships with our global customer base.
- Engage with prospects across sectors and geographies, understanding their challenges and communicating the value of our solutions.
- Qualify leads and assess their suitability for our products or services.
- Conduct meetings or demos with qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in Salesforce.
- Work closely with marketing to align lead-generation efforts.
- Continuously update your knowledge of our products and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to improve lead generation and qualification processes.
- Assist in developing sales scripts and outreach strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of sales collateral and materials.
- Attend industry events or trade shows to network and identify potential leads.
- Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
- 7+ years of experience in sales, customer management, or lead generation in a highly technical field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree (2:1 or above) in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales tools.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar, with a proven track record.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial automation, or machine vision.
