You will be expected to:

Provide support during classroom lessons and contribute to a positive, structured learning environment

Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO

Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learnThe ideal candidate will be an experienced teaching assistant who thrives on helping young learners achieve their full potential. You should have a good understanding of the national curriculum and experience supporting children with SEND or EAL is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, patience, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a teaching assistant
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
