We are seeking a Temporary Electronics Engineer for 6-8 weeks with experience in mixed-signal board design to support the development of a specialised test board for a focused radiation testing application.
This role involves working with two key components:
- Analog Devices AD9082 (High-speed DAC/ADC)
- Marvell 88E1111 (Ethernet Transceiver)
Please note: This is not a full-featured implementation. The board is to support a reduced functionality set, based on a specific, application-oriented scenario, to facilitate upcoming radiation tests. We are targeting only the relevant features required for this purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a compact test board for a bespoke test scenario
- Implement limited functionality of the AD9082 and 88E1111 components
- Collaborate with the internal team to understand and translate test objectives into board requirements
- Prepare documentation to support testing and review processes
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in mixed-signal hardware design
- Strong understanding of high-speed ADC/DAC design (preferably with the AD9082 or similar devices)
- Competence in digital communications hardware, including Ethernet interfaces (e.g., Marvell 88E1111)
- Ability to work independently on focused prototype development
- Familiarity with radiation testing environments is a plus, but not essential
This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a targeted and time-critical project, contributing to the development of advanced testing infrastructure for space or high-reliability applications.
