Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their team. This permanent role is perfect for someone passionate about calculations and formulas, and keen to share this passion of the subject with their students.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons and deliver to students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school activities and events.
  • Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
  • Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
