We are seeking a dedicated Conveyancer to join our client's Domestic Conveyancing department. This role involves managing case files, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for progressing cases, meeting fee income targets, and contributing to the firm's reputation by delivering high-quality service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Open and manage case files using the firm’s case management and accounts software, ensuring files are current and up to date.
  • Handle client communications effectively, establishing strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Progress cases efficiently to avoid inactivity or backlog.
  • Supervise, train, and develop other staff members as required.
  • Provide assistance to partners and handle fee-earning and casework.
  • Manage key dates, diaries, and appointments, and arrange meetings with service providers as necessary.
  • Deal with telephone calls, messages, and client interactions promptly and professionally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Preferably 3 Years PQE
  • Previous experience of managing own cases
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and people-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, word processing, Excel, and database management.
  • Strong organisational ability and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the law and procedures relevant to residential conveyancing.
  • Familiarity with SRA, SQM, CQS, and CML requirements, and the ability to maintain compliance with these standards.
  • Experience in maintaining a fully completed and up-to-date learning and development log.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and manage potential conflicts of interest.
