As a Sub Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and project team in the safe and efficient delivery of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring works are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Site Agent in day-to-day project management and delivery
Supervise site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings
Oversee quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental management on site
Contribute to planning, programming, and progress reporting
Manage site documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and permits
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery
About You
Previous experience in a Sub Agent or Section Engineer role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality, and environmental management systems
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage people effectively
Proficient in using engineering software and Microsoft Office
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines
