Reed Norwich Accountancy are looking for someone to join our clients dynamic finance team. We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to help shape and continuously improve finance operations. This role is based in Diss, Norfolk, and offers a chance to make a significant impact within our fast-growing team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Posting daily sales invoices and purchase invoices.
  • Conducting daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Allocating insurer payments for Lancaster Gate, a key part of the role.
  • Managing control cheque payments from the premium account.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Reconciling supplier accounts to statements.
  • Prioritising effectively and identifying business improvement opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships across the Lexham Group to explore new ideas and share best practices.
  • Handling other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a financial services environment is desirable.
  • An analytical and accurate approach to tasks.
  • AAT qualification or part-qualified is an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Sage 50 and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a strong team player.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
