Are you an experienced Finance Analyst or a Corporate Finance specialist looking for the opportunity to progress your career?

A large international manufacturing & service business are currently looking to bring an experienced Analyst to assist the Group's acquisition initiatives by evaluating the financial performance of potential targets, assessing associated risks and benefits, and conducting valuations.

The position is paying between £60,000 to £70,000, Hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus opportunity to buy more, great company pension, staff discounts, etc. Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial, operational, and market data to assess potential acquisition targets.
  • Develop financial forecasts, sensitivity analyses, and valuation models to evaluate acquisition value, returns, and risks.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations on pricing, deal structure, and terms to senior leadership.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals, including board and management reports.
  • Support senior leadership in presenting proposals to internal stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate financial and legal due diligence reports, liaising with external advisors.
  • Analyse market data, including monitoring market shares.
  • Assist in compiling a target list and monitoring industry M&A activity.
  • Monitor and track the performance of existing acquisitions, ensuring targets are met for deferred consideration payments.
  • Oversee the deal pipeline and support senior management with project management.
  • Develop and maintain databases of financial models, transaction data, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Acquisition, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations, to ensure smooth execution of acquisition strategies and seamless onboarding of acquisitions.
  • Participate in ad hoc finance projects as needed.
  • Support continuous process improvement and assist in mitigating risks and managing audit requests.

Requirements:

  • Professionally Qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
  • Experience in M&A/Acquisitions.
  • Experience in complex financial modelling & scenario analysis.
  • Fully proficient in Excel, VBA and Powerquery
  • Ability to present to board level
