Our client is a leading manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for an experienced SAP User to coordinate all inventory control on site for engineering & materials.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop, update & manage maintenance plans & work order fin SAP for the plant maintenance and material management
- Stock & inventory control - manage material stock locations & ensure accurate descriptions in SAP
- Receive, inspect & issue materials, maintain stock levels
- SAP user for all PPM & engineering coordination - parts, spares & materials to be readily available
- Ensure BOM's, track lists & equipment master data are maintained on the system
- Work closely with suppliers & logistics for delivery schedules, returns & finance teams
- Generate SAP reports - work order completion, material usage, maintenance KPi's
- Promote engineering reliability & proactive maintenance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have used SAP - ideally a Super User
- Beneficial to have worked in engineering & manufacturing
- Experience of stores control, ordering, engineering spares, inventory control, materials
- Proactive individual that is passionate about continuous improvement & reliability engineering
- High attention to details, organised and accurate with data & stock management
- Computer literate and happy being hands-on in a store area
- Effective communicator, able to work with various departments and external suppliers
