  • NXTGEN is partnering with a high-growth business seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner.
  • The role involves supporting senior stakeholders and driving commercial performance through financial insight and strategic challenge.
  • Candidates should ideally have a qualification in accounting (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or strong business partnering experience in complex environments.
  • The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work with large data sets, with a salary dependent on experience.
  • The company values inquisitive and proactive individuals who are driven to make a difference in their financial strategy.

NXTGEN are delighted to be partnering with a hugely successful, high-growth business with a strong UK and international footprint, as they look to recruit a commercially focused Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader that continues to evolve, both through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, with significant ongoing investment in systems, infrastructure, and data capabilities. As Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting a broad range of senior stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and driving commercial performance. This is a highly visible and influential Finance Business Partner position, with a clear focus on providing meaningful insight, challenging assumptions, and shaping financial strategy. You'll support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, helping to build complex scenario-based models, and deliver the analysis needed to support smart, data-led decision-making. You'll need the confidence and credibility to challenge assumptions, influence outcomes, and work collaboratively to improve commercial results.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to provide financial insight and strategic challenge
  • Delivering monthly performance analysis, forecasts and scenario modelling
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainable growth
  • Supporting annual budget and re-forecast cycles with commercial input
  • Working cross-functionally to align financial planning with business objectives
  • Supporting investment appraisals and business case development
  • Interrogating large data sets to spot trends, risks and commercial opportunities

You'll ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), although we're equally keen to speak with candidates who bring strong business partnering experience and commercial acumen from within large, complex environments. You'll have a proven ability to build relationships with non-finance teams, using your analytical mindset and confidence to challenge thinking and influence decisions. You'll need to be comfortable working with large volumes of data, with strong Excel skills and experience of financial modelling. Exposure to Power BI or similar visualisation tools would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential. Ultimately, we're looking for someone who's inquisitive, proactive, and driven to make a difference. Salary is dependant on experience.
