Are you a passionate and dynamic Physical Education Teacher with QTS, eager to inspire the next generation through sport and PE? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school based in the heart of Diss, Norfolk.

About the Role:

As a PE Teacher, you'll play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and confidence in our students. You'll be teaching a full timetable of PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in both practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.

  • Assess, record, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Organise and lead extracurricular activities and sports clubs, including inter-school fixtures, tournaments, and sports days.
  • Manage and maintain sports equipment and facilities, ensuring safety and readiness for use.
  • Ensure high standards of student behaviour, discipline, and engagement in lessons and activities.
  • Support students of all abilities, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the PE department and wider school community to enhance the curriculum.
  • Promote teamwork, leadership, and fair play, helping students build character and social skills.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in PE teaching, sports science, and child health.
