Drivers Mate

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to work alongside our lorry drivers, for a well known client of ours, based in Aylesford.

This role involves delivering wholesale food and beverages to hospitality venues, such as hotels, restaurants, pubs and hospitals.

Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.

Start times are 0600 and days will last for around 9-11 hours.

You will also be trained to be a 'banksman' - ensuring that you are outside of the lorry at all times when the lorry is reversing, to ensure that it is safe to do so.

You must be able to reliably commute to the Aylesford area.

Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at induction.

Pay rates of 13.44 per hour.

The right candidate will be:

• Reliable and organized
• Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
• Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
• Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
