Please note this role is based 5 days a week in the office and they operate 9am-5pm working hours. 

Working as part of a finance team of 8, As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions, monitor financial performance, and assist with strategic planning. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and present Monthly Management Accounts (Including profit & loss and balance sheet, Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments and posting various journals)• Gross margin analysis along with related commentary • Budgeting and Forecasting • Reviewing budgets and investigating any reasons for variances (Actual Vs Budget) • Monitoring of KPIs • Calculating rebates • Cashflow forecasting • Management of fixed assets and calculating depreciation • Working capital management • Monitor costs across various departments, identifying areas where savings can be made. Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency• VAT Returns • Ad-hoc stock checks/ audit • Various ad-hoc reporting/ analysis for senior management - Provide insights and actionable recommendations to help drive business performance/ strategy• Dealing with external accountants, providing information for the statutory accounts and being the main point of contact for audit queries • Support ongoing improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the finance function• Ensure that all financial practices comply with legal regulations and internal policiesSkills & Qualifications:• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered)• Minimum of 3 years of experience in management accounts• Proficiency in using accounting software as well as intermediate/advanced Excel skills • Good reporting and analytical skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team • Experience of leading others would be preferable although not essential • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels • Problem solving abilities • Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.If you are interested in this opportunity, please send in your CV asap!
