Business Purchaser
Location: Doncaster
Working Hours: Mon - Fri - 40 per week (8am to 4.30pm)
We are seeking an experienced and proactiveBusiness Purchaserto join our busy and fast-paced team. This role is essential in ensuring our inventory is well-managed and ready to support our machinery building operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stock control and purchasing for a busy store environment
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production schedules
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective ordering of parts and materials
- Support the assembly of agricultural machinery through efficient stock coordination
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a purchasing and stock control role, ideally within an industrial environment / Agricultural industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident interacting with customers and suppliers
You will require your own transport for commuting, due to the location and the lack of public transport.
This position will be an initial 3 months probationary period and if suitable, you will become employed full time, permanently with our company.
The salary will be discussed further at interview, dependant on the experience and the skill set you possess.
We are quite a niche market for this type of role and it is imperative we find the right person.
