Zachary Daniels are recruiting for an Interim Assistant CRM Manager to join a leading UK retail brand.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CRM professional to take the reins of an established team and play a key role in delivering intelligent, personalised customer communications that make a real impact. Working across email, SMS and direct mail, you'll help drive engagement throughout the customer lifecycle - from first browse to post-purchase loyalty.

You'll join a high-performing marketing team that values data-led thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract and a great chance to make your mark in a well-known, customer-first business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the planning and execution of multi-channel CRM campaigns that drive customer value
  • Developing segmentation strategies and refining targeting through deep behavioural understanding
  • Owning a robust test and learn roadmap to optimise performance
  • Managing campaign performance reporting, turning insight into action
  • Supporting broader projects such as integrations, product feeds and CRM tool enhancements
  • Overseeing and developing a team of CRM Executives, mentoring their growth
  • Managing the CRM budget, focusing on ROI and effectiveness
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and strategic campaign delivery
  • Continuously improving CRM processes to boost efficiency and results

What we're looking for:

  • 2-4 years' experience in CRM or customer communications roles
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and campaign optimisation
  • Hands-on experience with ESPs/CDPs (Bloomreach would be a bonus)
  • A passion for data-driven marketing and testing strategies
  • Experience managing and developing people in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - confident working cross-functionally and influencing at all levels
  • High attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ideally, a background in the retail/ B2C consumer sector
