We're working with a leading manufacturing client based in Doncaster in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. This role is key to their engineering function and comes with the responsibility of leading a team of skilled engineers. We're looking to engage with people who have experience leading and motivating engineering teams. If you are looking for a fast paced engineering role then this could be for you.

The Person:

  • NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice Trained).
  • Have worked as a Engineering Shift Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Team Leader, Lead Engineer or Electrical Shift Manager before.
  • Motivated / Determined / Ambitious.

The Role:

  • Lead a team of skilled engineers.
  • Co-ordinate/support with breakdown diagnostics.
  • Daily engineering briefings.
  • Liaise with production to ensure smooth operation.
  • Adhere to site H&S.
  • Plan and co-ordinate team resources to complete all work allocated to the team in a timely manner.
  • Motivate and manage people activities to meet team performance targets. Identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implement team development plans.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.

This role is working Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm. Salary of up to 48,500 + additional benefits. This role offers fantastic progression and the opportunity to move up the career ladder with the business.
