Are you a skilled Science Technician looking for a flexible role across a variety of secondary schools in Doncaster? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Science Technician to support science departments in multiple local schools, helping to inspire the next generation of scientists.

 About the Role:

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital part in the smooth running of the science departments, preparing practical experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring health and safety standards are upheld. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working across different school environments, and having the flexibility to choose hours that suit their lifestyle.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up equipment for biology, chemistry, and physics experiments

  • Support teaching staff during practical lessons

  • Ensure all equipment and materials are stored and maintained safely

  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed

  • Follow and enforce health and safety protocols

 About You:

We’re looking for a Science Technician who is:

  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Experienced in a laboratory or school science setting (preferred, but not essential)

  • Confident in handling lab equipment and chemicals

  • Able to work independently and adapt to different school environments

  • DBS-checked or willing to undergo a DBS application
