Electrical Engineer

This role is for an electrical engineer who wants responsibility, not someone chasing a fancy title. It's a step up, not a sideways move.

Adept Resourcing is recruiting for a manufacturing business that needs someone to take ownership of electrical design and grow with the role.

This is a design led, hands on role.

You'll be:

• Designing electrical systems (wiring looms, fuse boards, power, lighting)

• Producing and working from electrical schematics

• Supporting prototype builds and fixing real world problems

• Working closely with production to make designs work on the shop floor

You'll also:

• Support and guide a small electrical prep team

• Be the go-to person for electrical questions

• Gradually take on more responsibility as you grow

This is engineering first. Leadership comes with time.

You don't need "Electrical Design Engineer" on your CV already.

This suits someone who:

• Works as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, CAD Designer (Electrical), Controls Engineer, or similar

• Is already involved in design, schematics, or system layout

• Has experience in manufacturing, vehicles, machinery, or industrial environments

• Wants their first proper step up

• Is comfortable owning problems and learning as they go
