As an Electrician, you will be required to:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment
- Carry out safety-related and other miscellaneous electrical functions
- Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely
- Demonstrate basic mechanical knowledge
- Program VSDs and troubleshoot PLCs
- Test systems for compatibility and safety using diagnostic tools
- Work independently or as part of a team on various installations and maintenance jobs
- Interpret and work from electrical diagrams
- Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal standards
- Follow all safety regulations and use the required PPE at all times
Candidate:
- Apprentice trained to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Repair & Maintenance
- Minimum 2 years’ electrical experience in an industrial setting
- 18th Edition certified
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices - qualifications preferred
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
- Able to work under minimal supervision and handle fault finding confidently
