Pay rate: £12.21

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling shelves for supermarkets using various handy tools. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble shelves and other fixtures for supermarkets according to specified designs and layouts.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete assembly tasks.
Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to optimize productivity and maintain a smooth workflow.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report any issues or defects in materials or assembly processes to the supervisor.
Participate in training and development programs as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in assembly work or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
Excellent time management skills.
