Technical Operators/Machine Technicians

4 on 4 off shift pattern, Days OR Nights

6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.

Salary

Days-£30,500

Nights-£34,200

We are looking for experienced Machine Technicians, our ideal candidate will have mechanical/ electrical skills. 

In your new role as a Machine TechnicianTechnical Operator

  • Operation of bespoke machines.
  • Perform quality control
  • Perform technical cleaning of equipment.
  • Repair/refurb components that are used in the machines.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of tools/toolboxes in ensuring having all the tools at hand all the time.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the Production workshop in both using and cleaning.
  • Preventative/Reactive maintenance of automated Production lines.
  • Maintain high standards of H&S practices
  • Able to assist our external software support by having good communication skills to resolve issues/concerns with the Production machines.
  • Actively looking to improve on Productivity and share this drive with other shifts.
  • Be able to train others in due course.

Key Skills and Experience required

  • Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous
  • Pneumatic maintenance experience
  • Analytical & Basic Computer Skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to read diagrams, technical drawings & manuals.
  • Ability to fault find to component level.
  • Ability to understand production planning to ensure production flow.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and challenge data.
