We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead and develop a growing team of trainee accountants and ensure the smooth running of the accounting and finance systems for a large financial services business in Doncaster. What you’ll be doing:- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 6 trainee accountants
- Oversee monthly management accounts, including income statements and balance sheets
- Cashflow forecasting – weekly and monthly
- Ensure accuracy of high-volume purchase and sales ledgers
- Liaise with auditors and key stakeholders, including the CEO
- VAT compliance and preparation of regulatory returns (ONS, FCA)
- Present financial information to senior leadership
- Drive process improvements and deliver change projects
- Part-Qualified ACCA / CIMA or AAT Level 3 or 4
- Previous experience in a financial services business is preferred but not essential
- Strong team leadership skills – experience managing a small team
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Sage (desirable)
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage at all levels
- A logical decision-maker with excellent organisational skills
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
- Bonus: Up to 15% (paid quarterly)
