Job Description:

Reed Education are currently supporting a lovely village primary school with their recruitment for a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their team. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the school premises, with a focus on safety, compliance, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Handling: Responsible for the security and access control of the school, including managing key distribution and maintaining secure access points.
  • DIY Skills: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and decorating to keep the school in top condition.
  • Coordination with Contractors: Communicate and coordinate with third-party contractors for various projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Safeguarding: Understand and implement safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of children, including monitoring the premises for potential hazards and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
