Contracttype: Permanent Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a prestigious College based in the South Yorkshire area. We are supporting with the permanent recruitment of a Health and Social Care Tutor role, which includes Adult Social Care, Mental Health and Autism Awareness.

Drawing on your vocational experience in Health and Social Care, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge by teaching adult learners aged 19 and over. Working within the education inspection framework, you will have the autonomy to design, plan, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons both on-campus and off-site. This includes delivering short courses through blended and online learning formats. Teaching will take place at college premises as well as various venues across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise, plan, deliver and assess high quality teaching, learning and assessment on a variety of courses in line with the Education Inspection Framework and University requirements.
  • Design and development of teaching and learning materials including those required for blended and online delivery.
  • Ensuring the successful completion, achievement and progression of all students in the curriculum area.
  • Ensuring the College quality assurance procedures and requirements of accrediting bodies and RARPA are adhered to and accurate courses and awarding body registrations are completed.

What you will need:

  • Recent experience in teaching delivery in relevant subject area/levels.
  • A degree or Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area.
  • English and Maths at level 2 or above.
