Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the metal shop, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Coordinate and allocate resources to optimise workflow and efficiency.
- Monitor quality control processes and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall organisational goals.

Profile
A successful Metal Shop Supervisor should have:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a metal fabrication or fit-out environment.
- Strong understanding of MIG/TIG welding, fabrication, and finishing of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and fabrication details.
- Familiarity with architectural and decorative metalwork for retail and commercial interiors.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once.
- Good working knowledge of workshop machinery, tools, and maintenance.
- Understanding of H&S legislation and safe workshop practices.
