My client in the DN2 area of Doncaster are looking for an experienced Stores / FLT Operative.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries of raw materials and components
Store items in appropriate locations using appropriate handling equipment.
Pick and issue materials to production teams based on job orders or schedules.
Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with cycle counting and audits.
Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Liaise with procurement, production, and quality teams to resolve stock issues
Keep the stores area clean, organized, and secure. In Line with the rules of the department.
Adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations
Essential requirements:
2 years FLT experience (Ideally a Counter Balance licence).
Computer literate
Be able to work under pressure
Good communication skills (face to face and phone)
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Must take a pride in their work and ensure work is completed to a high standard
Full, clean UK driving license
Desirable requirements:
Knowledge of an ERP System, and other warehouse management software would be an advantage
